Collection: Cornelius Vandeputte

The Belgian artist Cornelius Vandeputte (1969) began his artistic career in the theater at a young age. He later attended the State Ballet School in Antwerp.

Due to physical problems, Cornelius had to give up his dance career and change careers. He worked in the film industry in Great Britain, after which he also developed an interest in the world of wine and worked as a wine consultant. After many years abroad, the designer decided to return to his roots and moved back to Belgium. There, Cornelius began a new chapter in his life and entered the Ypres Academy of Fine Arts to study sculpture.

He skillfully combines dance and sculpture. Cornelius wants to push the boundaries of the material and uses forms that evoke movement and tension and convey emotions.
