"The Tribe" by Cornelius Vandeputte is a composition of four bronze sculptures, each figure embodying an aspect of communal harmony, wisdom, and tradition.

The four protagonists of this artwork are:

  • "The Chieftain," the central figure of the tribe, is covered with a golden patina and symbolizes leadership and authority. He is a complex figure that connects the tribe members and bridges the earthly and spiritual worlds.
  • "The Wise Woman", the tribal elder and keeper of ancient wisdom about spirituality, healing and harmony,
  • "The Bard", a storyteller and cultural cornerstone of the tribe, who preserves traditions and guides the community through his captivating narratives and interpretation of the movements of the stars,
  • "The Shaman," who maintains balance in the tribe through shapeshifting, communicating with, and embodying various animals and spirit forms.
