In his work, Cornelius Vandeputte uses forms that evoke movement, tension, and emotion. As a former dancer, he incorporates dance into all his designs. Shifting Perspectives, a chrome-plated bronze sculpture, is a striking example:

With its smooth, curved surfaces that change as one moves around them, the sculpture depicts two intertwined figures. From different angles, an interplay of open and closed spaces emerges. From one perspective, a male profile appears; from the other, forms reminiscent of plants and caves take shape, symbolizing the choreography of nature and life.
