Pawel Andryszewski was born in Poznań and attended the Poznań State High School of Fine Arts from 1978 to 1984. He then studied painting, graphic design, and sculpture at the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts from 1984 to 1990. Even as a young student and before graduating with a degree in sculpture and small-scale sculpture, Andryszewski won his first awards. Since 1992, Andryszewski has worked as a freelance artist.
He works as a designer for the natural stone industry both in Germany and abroad and has also created numerous works, primarily in natural stone, over the past twenty years, which have found their place throughout Germany and Switzerland. However, he has retained the broad artistic range that emerged at the art academy in his early years.
Today, Andryszewski works equally in drawing, painting, and sculpture, and increasingly in the latter, using bronze. His sculptural work is characterized by highly realistic precision.
