A unique ceramic wall object featuring small, sculptural faces mounted on a white, square plate. The arrangement of the heads can be found further down in this item description.

The faces closely resemble those of a Buddha with closed eyes and feature two distinct expressions, some with a kissing mouth and others with a peaceful grin. This work of art is available in various colors and in two sizes, with two different numbers of faces (14 and 28).

The picture itself, or rather the white, 2cm deep base plate, is signed by the artist.

Selma Calheira

In den fünfziger Jahren gründete sie im Alter von 38 Jahren ihr eigenes Keramikstudio und nannte es Cores da Terra – Farben der Erde. Calheira hat diesen Namen gewählt, da er einen ihrer Kernwerte widerspiegelt, nämlich nachhaltige Kunst zu machen. Die Arbeit von Selma Calheira ist verspielt und dennoch raffiniert.
