Selma Calheira was inspired by nature and created a wonderfully minimalist series of ceramic fruit objects. The pieces offered by Gardeco include apple, pear, cherry, fig, hazelnut, and cacao. Selma's fruit objects are playful yet sophisticated and are handcrafted from organic clay and natural pigments.

Small variations in color and size may occur and are due to the artisanal manufacturing method.

In den fünfziger Jahren gründete sie im Alter von 38 Jahren ihr eigenes Keramikstudio und nannte es Cores da Terra – Farben der Erde. Calheira hat diesen Namen gewählt, da er einen ihrer Kernwerte widerspiegelt, nämlich nachhaltige Kunst zu machen. Die Arbeit von Selma Calheira ist verspielt und dennoch raffiniert.
