Selma Calheira's Jarra, Garrafa, and Botija series consists of elegant and minimalist ceramic vases. The vases are characterized by flowing shapes, smooth surfaces, and a neutral white color. They convey a sense of calm and balance all the elements of a decor.

Jarra, Garrafa, and Botija are handcrafted by skilled artisans at the Cores da Terra ceramics studio in Brazil. Slight variations in size and color may occur as a natural consequence of the artisanal manufacturing method.

The vases are not waterproof and should therefore not be used with water or other liquids.

Selma Calheira

In den fünfziger Jahren gründete sie im Alter von 38 Jahren ihr eigenes Keramikstudio und nannte es Cores da Terra – Farben der Erde. Calheira hat diesen Namen gewählt, da er einen ihrer Kernwerte widerspiegelt, nämlich nachhaltige Kunst zu machen. Die Arbeit von Selma Calheira ist verspielt und dennoch raffiniert.
