Bronze sculpture "Odoodem I" by Guy Buseyne

Odoodem I and Odoodem II are impressive bronze sculptures by Belgian artist Guy Buseyne, inspired by the concept of totems. The term "totem" comes from the Anishinaabe Native American people, who use totems to define roles and responsibilities and to connect generations within clans through shared wisdom and knowledge. A totem can represent a supernatural being, object, or animal with which a clan feels a strong connection.

Odoodem I and Odoodem II offer a modern interpretation of this concept. They represent both individual and collective identities and illustrate how we learn from and with each other and shape society across generations.
