Thomas Schöne

Thomas Schöne is a creative all-rounder: In his studio in the Allgäu region, he works as a furniture and jewelry designer, he designs and sews puppets, even equips entire self-designed marionette theaters, and also offers his skills as an interior designer and illusionist.

He is a trained and qualified graphic designer who has long since made a name for himself as an illustrator of children's and young adult books. Even as a student, he focused not only on illustration but also explored sculpture, thus repeatedly creating sculptural works.

Schöne's artistic self-image is also certainly "craftsmanship" in the sense that he continually studies the techniques of great masters and applies them in his own works, whether in oil painting or in the modeling of sculptures. Schöne's work has already been presented in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
