Collection: Sorina von Keyserling

Sorina von Keyserling depicts, not idealizes. Her art is explicitly realistic, and this is precisely why she is in great demand, especially as a portrait sculptor. Her artistic vision focuses on the individual's unique impact, unobscured by tradition or contemporary ideals of beauty. This perspective on the authenticity of the body may stem from her time as a dancer.

Von Keyserling was active in Berlin's independent dance scene and remained connected to the city's theaters later in life (for example, as an intern in the sculpture workshop of the Deutsche Oper or as a member of the Berlin Theaterskulpturerwerkstatt). She has worked as a freelance sculptor since 2009 and had her first solo exhibitions in 2011, followed by regular presentations of her work since then.
