Collection: Serge Perrot

The works of Serge Perrot – not a classical sculptor, but a trained designer and graphic artist – are examples of how even the millennia-old art of casting and bronze is opening up new paths into the future. Perrot's models are created through painstaking computer work, using 3D processes to realize forms that would otherwise be impossible. The subsequent casting process, however, differs little from traditional bronze casting.

Perrot's works could be described as "bionic"-inspired small sculptures, which create biological-looking forms through highly technical means. While they don't depict any concrete natural object, their grace and form make them seem as if they could have been produced by evolution.
