Collection: Ladislav Hlina

Ladislav Hlina was born in 1947 in Bohemia, a region with a rich cultural and artisanal tradition. He discovered his passion for art and craftsmanship at an early age and began training at the renowned glass school in Steinschönau. There, he learned the art of creating church windows.

His artistic path later led him to the University of Applied Sciences for Art and Design in Cologne. There, he deepened his knowledge through an extended course of study that encompassed both metal sculpture and nude sculpture—a training that decisively shaped his later work.

Since 1975, Hlina has worked as a freelance artist, specializing in bronze sculpture. His works are characterized by great expressiveness and precise craftsmanship.

Particularly noteworthy is that Hlina was personally involved in the entire creation process of his sculptures. From the initial design and modeling to the casting and final finishing – each work was created entirely in his own workshop, under his direction, and with the highest quality standards.
