Ann Vrielinck

The sculptor Ann Vrielinck (1966) was born not far from the beautiful city of Bruges in Belgium. She studied fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges and later obtained an academic degree in painting at the Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Ghent. Vrielinck's works of art are snapshots of the human body in motion and of communication and interaction between people. The faces of Ann's sculptures are barely defined, which reinforces the universal character of the pieces and evokes greater identification in the viewer.
