Collection: Klaus Horstmann-Czech

Born in 1943 in Ústí nad Labem, Horstmann moved with his parents to Heidelberg in 1948, where he began his graphic design training. Between 1969 and 1963, he directed the Moderne Galerie and co-founded the Berlin Art Fair. Horstmann-Czech was awarded the Salzburg Art Prize. His works consist primarily of steel, bronze, and marble, often combining different materials. He also participated in various sculpture symposiums in Italy. From 1985 to 2016, Klaus Horstmann-Czech lived and worked at Villa Braunbehrens on the Kohlhof in Heidelberg and in Marina di Carrara, Italy.
